We are very passionate about the beef industry. Our goal is to supply genetics to the backbone of the industry, YOU, the commercial cattleman. We realize the majority of our customers sell their calves by the pound. Therefore you need bulls that will produce calves that will push down the scales. We don’t take lightly the responsibility of producing bulls for our customers that enhance sustainability of a way of life we all love.
This program is not about us, where would we be without our customers? Your success is our greatest inspiration and the barometer on which we gauge our breeding program. Please feel free to stop by anytime to look at the bulls or take a tour through the cow herd.
About the Cattle
Our bulls spend the first 6 months of their lives running on wheat stubble and grass with their dams until weaning the first of October. They are then developed right here on the ranch on CHS Bull Challenger, long stem hay and a FlaxLic tub. Our bulls are developed to be fit not fat so they can go right to work this spring and hold up over the long run. We raise registered Gelbvieh and Red Angus cattle with a few balancers. Our mission is to produce bulls that will work for the commercial cattlemen. We also show cattle around the west promoting our program and the breed.
